With a career spanning both in-house and agency leadership, Laura brings a powerful, insider’s understanding of what it takes to elevate brands and find the right people to help achieve goals.

Laura has guided and grown talent throughout her career—ultimately leading recruiting and human resources for an award-winning communications firm. Inspired by her passion for people and her instinct for strong matches, she launched The O’Hare Group to help organizations secure exceptional talent for mission-critical roles, from senior executives and directors to account managers and coordinators. Her approach centers on creating meaningful partnerships that fuel growth and long-term success for both brands and the professionals who power them.
Before the O'Hare Group
Before founding her firm, Laura served as Vice President of Human Resources and Operations at HL Group, where she led talent acquisition at every level, shaped employee experience, and collaborated with practice leaders across multiple communications verticals, social media, and event production to build standout teams.
Earlier at HL Group, Laura was a Managing Director, spearheading high-profile work for clients including Dolce & Gabbana, Harry Winston, Rachel Roy, TOMS Shoes, Starwood Capital Group, and The New Yorker. She also oversaw Fashion Week staffing and operations—managing up to 35 shows and events each season with precision and creativity.
Laura began her career managing in-house public relations for some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Hermès of Paris, Nicole Farhi, French Connection, and Vera Wang—experience that continues to energize and inform her work today.
